S. Korea calls world society to be part in encouraging ‘responsible’ AI

(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Lee Jae Myung, the S. Korean Leader, called the international society to "unite" to make sure the "responsible use" of AI, artificial intelligence, as well as the UN Security Council to be a part in organizing a shard word respond.

A news agency reported that Lee, who is the first S. Korean leader to head such a summit, called administrations, the academic community, industry, as well as civil society to collaborate and encourage new creations toward "AI for all" and "inclusive and human-centric AI," has chaired a public debate at the Council about AI as well as international peace and security.

The need for international collaboration has been increasing to address the worries related to the probability of AI as well as other advanced technologies being misused in ways that could jeopardize security and human rights.

Lee stated that "to turn the changes of the AI era -- where light and shadow coexist -- into opportunities, it is essential for the international community to unite and uphold the principle of 'responsible use of AI.'"
